Day 01: Arrival at Phuentsholing
You may arrive at Bagdogra airport by plane, Transfer to Phuentsholing. After arriving in Phuentsholing, we first go through the route permission processing, and then in the evening we go for a relaxing walk around the market. Overnight in Phuentsholing.

Day 02: Phuentsholing – Thimphu (165 Km/5 hrs.)
After completing the necessary procedures at immigration, you will next need to travel to Thimphu, which should take you between five and six hours. Visit the Rinchending monastery along the way, and while you're there, pull over at several towns and picturesque overlooks to take in the scenery, which is abundant with natural wonders like waterfalls, and take some pictures. Check into your accommodation as soon as you arrive in Thimphu. Visit the Bhutanese Crafts market and Clock Tower Square. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 03: Thimphu – Paro (50 Km/1 hr.)
In the morning, a full day tour of Thimphu’s cultural sites and monuments will include National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, and The Jungshi handmade paper factory. Continue visiting more sights of Thimphu namely, Motithang Takin Preserve, National Institute of Zorig Chusum (also known as Painting school, where students undergo a 6-year training. Course in Bhutan’s 13 traditional carts & craft), a short drive up to a viewpoint for aerial view of the capital, its suburbs and Tashichho Dzong. There are other attractions like Changangkha monastery, Simtokha Dzong, Textile Museum, Druk Wangyal Lhakhang, Farmer’s Market (more vibrant during the weekends), and others which can be visited as per available time or based on your interests. Later, transfer to Paro.

Day Highlight(s): National Memorial Stupa, Buddha Dordenma Statue (Giant Buddha Point), Jungshi Paper Factory Tour, Motithang Takin Preserve, Thimphu Dzong from Viewpoint, National Institute for Zorig Chusum Tour.

Day 04: Paro Valley (Taktsang Hike)
Drive to the trail head and hike to famous Taktsang (tiger’s nest) monastery (3120m/10,200ft). Visible from afar, this magical monastery clings to a vertical granite cliff 1,000 feet above the valley floor. It is one of the most amazing and important pieces of architecture in Bhutan. If for some reason, you are not able to hike, your Guide can arrange other interesting alternatives. You can also hire pony for the uphill part, till the first viewpoint & cafeteria but you must be able to walk back downhill. While some will probably not make it all the way to the monastery, however it is worth even to try getting till the first viewpoint. Return to Paro, where we may have more time for stroll around the town. Overnight in Paro.

Day 05: Paro – Phuentsholing (160 Km/5 hrs.)
After breakfast, visit Ta Dzong (National Museum), Rinpung Dzong, the ruins of Drugyal Dzong and the ancient Kichu Lhakhang temple. Later, drive back to Phuentsholing (5-6 hours). Upon arrival, check-in hotel. Overnight in Phuentsholing.

Day 06: Phuentsholing - Departure
Departure transfer to Bagdogra Airport/ NJP railway station for your onwards journey.

- Visitors from India can use a passport or voter ID card. Children under 18 years of age can use a birth certificate or passport and must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
- There shall be festival surcharge applicable on hotels during prominent Bhutanese festivals. The net surcharge amount shall be communicated before final tour confirmation.
- It is highly recommended to have good relations with your tour guide & driver. Treat them with respect as it reciprocated the same way in Bhutanese culture.
- Carrying of Tobacco product is a punishable offence to Bhutan.
- The current Bhutan applicable taxes are included in the package cost. However if any additional tax/charges are levied by the Government at the time of the confirmation of the tour, the same will be charged.
