Day 01: Bagdogra/ Drive to Darjeeling.(2042m/67kms/3-4hrs)
On arrival at Bagdogra airport, meet our representative and drive to Darjeeling. The road climbs up the hill with various curves till Kurseong, from here its a gentle drive till Darjeeling.
Darjeeling, affectionately known as 'Queen of Hills,' is nestled amid the undulating mountains with Mount Kanchenjunga towering over the blue sky. It is also the home of the world-famous Darjeeling tea and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, and is a gateway for those who want to be in one with nature.
Later in the day, go through Chowrasta, a historic public plaza. In the 18th century, it was a popular gathering spot for townspeople and tourists, and it remains so today.

Darjeeling to Ghoom via Batasia Loop is a 14-km, 2-hour round journey. Darjeeling Himalayan Railways (DHR), a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, is a colonial emblem and technical wonder. It's a great way to see the Himalayas from the slopes.

Day 02: Darjeeling
Drive to Tiger Hill in the wee hours of the morning to enjoy a magnificent sunrise. Tiger Hill, 13km from Darjeeling and 2,590m above the village of Ghoom, offers a spectacular sunrise across Mount Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan peaks. Mount Everest (8,848m) is also visible.
Visit Ghoom monastery on the way back. Ghoom Monastery, sometimes called Yiga Choeling, features a 15-foot-tall Maitreya Buddha statue. Built in 1850 by a Mongolian monk, it's notable for its Thangkha, bells, and drums.

One of the best ways to experience the panoramic views that Darjeeling is so famous for, is by taking a ride on the ropeway. It's also called the Rangeet Valley Passenger Cable Car because of the spectacular view of the valley around the river Little Rangeet.

Day 03: Darjeeling/ Pelling (78 km, approx. 4-hour drive)
After breakfast, travel to Pelling in West Sikkim. The drive winds through valleys, hills, charming towns, and tea plantations, going via the interstate border town of Jorthang. Take a pleasant pause along the way to witness the spectacular confluence of the Rangeet and Rammam rivers at the viewpoint close to Jorthang. Then the road takes a steep turn upto Geyzing. The view of the entire surrounding widens as one approaches towards Pelling.
Pelling offers stunning views of the Himalayas and Mount Kanchenjunga. This hill hamlet is a natural gem with lovely buildings nestled on a forested slope.
In the afternoon, climb to the Rabdentse Palace ruins. Rabdentse was Sikkim's second capital, founded by the second Chogyal in the 17th century and lasting until 1814 A.D.
Upon returning, visit the Pemayangtse Monastery atop a hill. It's the seat of Nyingmapa monasteries and Sikkim's most prominent learning centre.

Day 04: Pelling – excursion to Yuksom (35 km approx. 2 hrs oneway)
Yuksom was the first capital of Sikkim, where the first Chogyal of the Kingdom of Sikkim was consecrated in 1641 AD by three erudite lamas.
Explore Darap Community, a village inhabited by the ethnic Limboo Community, as well as other tiny groups like the Lepchas, Chettries, Gurungs, Bhutias, Tamangs, and Rais.
On the way, stop at Rimbi Waterfalls, a stunning tourist destination in Pelling that is close to the settlement of Darap. With lush greenery all around and a serene atmosphere, these waterfalls are a remarkable destination for vacationers seeking to recharge their batteries in the company of Mother Nature.
Khecheopalri Lake: Both Buddhists and Hindus regard this lake as one of the holiest lakes in this state.
Continue driving to reach Kanchenjunga Falls. This enormous waterfall is said to have formed in the ice glaciers of beautiful Mount Kanchenjunga, giving it a year-round flow. This towering display is a sight for sore eyes, with water cascading from a height of more than a hundred feet.

The skywalk was constructed to offer an amazing perspective of the magnificent Chenrezig monument, and it will bring you to golden prayer wheels on both sides and provide a panoramic view of the formidable Himalayas.

Day 05: Pelling / Gangtok (96km, approx. 3-hour drive)
After breakfast we drive to Gangtok via Rangvala visit Tallest Buddha statue further continue our drive through Martham village, visit Rumtek monstery. Later drive to Gangtok.
Rumtek monastery: It is the largest monasteries of Sikkim, reflecting the best of Tibetan architecture. Located 24km from Gangtok town at an elevation of 5000 ft. the serene Rumtek monastery in the beautiful background of majestic hills is the holy seat of XVIthGyawla Karmapa, the head of the Karma Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism. Its architectural design is almost identical to the original Kagyu headquarters in Tibet. The Kagyu (also called Kagyupa or Kagyud) school is one of six main schools of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 06: Gangtok Sightseeing

Ban Jhakri Falls: Located around 11 kilometres from Gangtok, Ban Jhakri Falls is a waterfall that plummets from a rocky height of approximately 40 feet with great power. Around the waterfalls are beautifully planted gardens and statues of Ban Jhakri (traditional healer or Shaman) and other Jhakri (Shaman) sculptures and figures. The statue in the park depicts rituals, some healing rites and others the induction procedure in the life of a shaman.
Do Drul Chorten was built in 1945 by Trulshi Rinpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism, and has a holy gold-topped shikhara with 108 prayer wheels.
Namgyal Institute of Tibetology was created in 1958 and is a notable worldwide centre for the study of Buddhist philosophy and religion. It has the world's greatest collection of Mahayana Buddhist manuscripts. The museum also features more than 200 Buddhist icons, ancient paintings, thangkhas, sculptures, shrines, tapestries, and masks. The Institute holds 30,000 books, mostly xylographs. Sunday-closed
Directorate of Handloom and Handicrafts Centre was founded in 1957 to promote and preserve Sikkim's traditional arts and crafts. Sunday-closed
Flower Exhibition Centre: Located near MG Marg Gangtok, Flower Exhibition Centre shows flowers from all over Sikkim under one roof. The yearly flower show is conducted from April through May, when the management displays orchids and other flowers from across the state.
Rest of the time can be spent taking stroll on MG Road.
MG Road is the heart of Gangtok and the central shopping hub of this beautiful state capital with various shops, restaurants, and hotels lined up along both sides of the road. This is a great place to take a leisurely stroll or just sit on the benches and revel in the eclectic ambience.

Day 7 Changu Lake and Baba Mandir
Today embark on a fascinating excursion to Changu Lake (Tsomgo Lake) & Baba Mandir:
Tsomgo, sometimes called Changu, is an oval-shaped glacier lake amid high mountains. At 3,753m, this placid lake stays frozen in winter and melts in summer. Sikkimese adore Tsomgo, a lake with numerous tales and myths. Key attractions include a ropeway and a Yak ride around the lake.
Located between Nathula and Jelepla pass at 13,123 feet, Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple is another noteworthy stop. Baba's ghost is supposed to protect soldiers in the harsh Eastern Himalayas. It is believed that Baba’s spirit protects every soldier in the inhospitable high-altitude terrain of the Eastern Himalayas
